Privacy notice

Personal data submission is voluntary, yet it is necessary to complete Silvensa 2018 registration process.

Mensa Slovensko, with its headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia is a controller of Silvensa 2018 participants’ personal data. You may contact Mensa Slovensko by:

Personal data of participants is processed for purpose of organizing Silvensa 2018, including, but not limited to registration of Silvensa 2018 participants, allowing the participants to participate in Silvensa 2018 and keeping contact between the organizers and the participants of Silvensa 2018,  and in case of e-mails also for purpose of sending information about next Silvensas. Lawful basis for processing personal data of Silvensy 2018 participants is their consent given in the registration form.

Personal data of Silvensa 2018 participants will be retained as long as the limitation period for Mensa Slovensko claims against Silvensa 2018 participants runs and/or as long as the limitation period for Silvensa 2018 participants’ claims against Mensa Slovensko runs. However, in respect of submitted e-mails personal data of Silvensa 2018 participants will be retained till further withdrawal of consent.

Personal data of Silvensa 2018 participants might be transmitted to providers, whom Mensa Slovensko commissions services related to personal data processing, e.g., IT service providers, venue and event organizers, when the event characteristic requires the transfer of Silvensa 2018 participants’ personal data. Such entities shall process Silvensa 2018 participants’ personal data under and in terms of agreements with Mensa Slovensko and only according to Mensa Slovensko binding instructions.

Silvensa 2018 participants shall have thereinunder rights in respect of their personal data processing:

  • the right to withdraw consent of their personal data processing at any time,

  • the right to access their personal data,

  • the right to rectify their personal data,

  • the right to have their personal data erased (also known as the right to be forgotten),

  • the right to restrict the processing of their personal data.

The right to withdraw consent at any time

Insofar as lawful basis for processing personal data of Silvensy 2018 participants is their consent, Silvensa 2018 participants have the right to withdraw consent of their personal data processing at any time. The withdrawal of consent is equivalent to resignation from participation in Silvensa 2018 and shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Should you want to withdraw consent, please send your request to Mensa Slovensko by post or e-mail, as indicated thereinbefore.

The right to complain to a supervisory authority

Silvensa 2018 participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority, i.e., Predseda úradu na ochranu osobnych údajov Slovenskej republiky (Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovenská republika).
